For a newly founded, mid-sized ophtalmologist center in Cologne, substance® has realized a new brand identity, visualizing the new perspective, that a treatment at the center promises to people with eyesight insufficiencies. The clinic provides services ranging from regular ophtalmology to eye surgery and laser surgery. It furthermore incorporates a biomedical institute and specializes in child-oriented eyesight testing.
The new perspective is best represented with the blank-out space in the circular logo symbol, offering a dimension beyond. This key idea as well as the logo symbol are consistently drawn through the entire appearance, from stationaries to way finding signature to semi-translucent window foils, even to a iconographic eyesight test in the loveable children waiting room, preparing kids for and reducing fear of entering the consultation.
